A Ghost Cat Stole My Boyfriend

It started with a stray cat.

My boyfriend, Lester, and my best friend, Sandy, supposedly rescued it from the streets. After that day, Lester began spending more and more time at her apartment.

Every time he went, he’d put on a show of utter annoyance. "If that damn cat didn't refuse to let anyone else touch him, I wouldn't even step foot in her place."

Sandy would roll her eyes right back. "As if I want you here. The cat likes you, not me."

They bickered constantly, always at each other's throats.
