The Friday before the wedding, I was at Bergdorf Goodman on Fifth Avenue, picking out silk scarves for our honeymoon.
My phone buzzed. It was a video file.
I tapped it open.
There was my fiancé, Julian Hawthorne, and his childhood friend, Chloe Bennett.
They were on the dark leather sofa in Julian’s office, kissing like the world was ending.
