I gasped, my body convulsing in agonizing pain on the cold floor. I begged and cried, pleading with my own sister to stop, but all I got in return was her freezing, disgusted glare.
"Jonah has a weak heart," Evelyn snapped, her voice devoid of any warmth. "As his brother, what's wrong with giving him yours? It's just a simple heart transfer."
She locked me in the dark basement, completely indifferent to my agony.
She turned around and showered Jonah with the utmost tenderness and care.
