His Rebirth: Letting Her Rot

When an earthquake hits, my entire class gets stuck at the classroom door and can't get out.

Then Julian Whitmore, the most popular guy in our class, rushes to the front and shouts, "Stop pushing! Everyone, take cover in the triangle of life and wait for help!"

Except that the whole "triangle of life" theory has just been debunked.

I look out at the lawn below our third-floor classroom. "We can jump! We might actually survive!"

My classmates hesitate for a second before climbing out the windows and jumping.
