My Amnesiac Boyfriend

On the third day of dating, my boyfriend lost his memory.

My reaction: ...

This was the man I had chased for three grueling years.

I'm exhausted. Let's just burn it all down.

I honestly didn't have the energy to try and win him over again.

So, when he looked at me, his eyes blank, and asked who I was, I simply replied, under the silent, tense gazes of his family, "I'm your assistant."

As soon as the words left my mouth, I felt a collective sigh of relief.

Including me. And, perhaps, even him.
