As the Vitano princess, I was promised early on in an arranged marriage to the Rosso Family.
But when the time came to exchange our families' tokens, I was bedridden with a high fever and had to ask my younger sister, Rosa, to deliver mine in my place.
The Rosso heir, Adrian Rosso, took a liking to her and insisted she be the bride instead.
Just six months after the wedding, her husband beat her to death in a drunken rage.
My father and my brother decided it was my fault Rosa died. They stopped speaking to me and treated me like I didn't exist.
