The day SAT scores dropped, my twin sister Emily totally tanked.

She cried so hard she could barely breathe. Mom, Dad, and Kenneth spent all night babying her.

After midnight, Mom finally remembered I existed.

"Amelia, what'd you get?"

I checked my score.

1580.

"Good enough for Halston."

Halston was one of the best colleges in the country.

The whole room went dead silent.

For one stupid second, I thought they might actually be proud of me.

Dad just stared.

"You and Emily are twins. You look almost exactly alike.

"Why don't you switch identities?

"Let Emily go to Halston as you."
