I went to the hospital where my brother works to get treated for a severe allergic reaction, only to cross paths with a nursing intern who harbored a massive crush on him.
After overhearing what she thought was an "intimate" conversation between me and my brother, she became intensely jealous. Coincidentally, my brother walked in at that exact moment and, out of pure habit, reached out to feel my forehead to check for a fever.
That was all it took. She completely cemented me as her ultimate rival, her eyes practically shooting daggers at me.
