The Memory I Faked, the Betrayal My Mate Hid

When I woke up from wolfsbane poison, I decided to scare my Alpha mate-to-be by pretending I’d lost my memory.

“Who are you?” I asked.

Nolan Hayes stepped back, putting distance between us.

“I’m your sister’s mate-to-be. She hasn’t been feeling well, so she asked me to check on you.”

I thought he was joking and turned to my adopted sister, Megan, who had just arrived.

She immediately slipped her hand around Nolan’s arm.

“Allison, don’t tell me you’ve forgotten.”

“Our bonding ceremony is in three days. You even promised to make my ceremony dress.”
