The Price of a Princess

I worked three jobs just to put my girlfriend through college.

On graduation day, she was officially recognized by a billionaire East Coast family.

Everyone told me my struggles were finally over, that I was about to marry into unimaginable wealth.

But I looked at the way she avoided my gaze, and I simply asked: "Do you want to break up?"

That night, back in my cramped apartment, I opened the calculator app.

Good lord. I was going to save five thousand dollars a month.

Tell me, should I buy a new graphics card first, or finally get that gym membership?
