The Rules Only Applied to Me

The first night I married into the Decker family in Markusson City, Rachael Decker had me sign an agreement.

It required every expense after the wedding to go through her approval.

"The gap between our families is too wide," she'd said. "This is to protect you from gossip."

I'd accepted it without a second thought.

Then came her pregnancy, and the mood swings that went with it. I stayed up with her every night until dawn, and the lack of sleep gave me splitting headaches. So I sent her a payment request on ClickCart for a head massager.

It cost twelve dollars.

She rejected it in seconds.
