I’d just finished showing the last property of the day to a client I’d connected with through a professional networking app.
On the surface, he seemed thrilled with the place. He was ready to sign then and there, but what he said next made my blood run cold. He leaned in, suggesting a "no-money-down" scheme—a blatant case of mortgage fraud. I didn't hesitate. I kept my voice firm and professional, telling him that what he was suggesting was illegal and that I wouldn’t be a part of it.
