I Birthed Eleven Heirs And Ruined My Ex’s Family

I have a cheat code: a hyper-fertile body that only conceives multiples.

For me, giving birth is as easy as drinking a glass of water.

After being nagged by my parents to get married, I finally signed the papers with a seemingly decent, ordinary guy.

But the moment we got married, my husband's family made it clear: I couldn't stop popping out babies until I gave them a male heir to inherit their family trust fund.

Three years into the marriage, my husband begged for a divorce, and his entire family got down on their knees, pleading with me to stop getting pregnant.

I looked at the dozen-plus sons running around outside, smiled sweetly, and shook my head.

"But Ethan, honey, I love you so much! Didn't you want a son? Let's have another round!"

Unable to handle my parents' constant nagging, I finally agreed to go on a blind date.

The guy was the only son of a wealthy local middle-class family. I heard he had six or seven older sisters.

The moment I heard that, I knew exactly what kind of family dynamic I was dealing with.

But Ethan Sterling actually looked quite handsome, had a decent job, and was completely different from what I had imagined.

He was attentive, gentle, and took care of me in every way.

He claimed it was love at first sight.

When I asked about his sisters, he smiled warmly.

"We all have a great relationship, so you don't have to worry about that. They'll always have my back in the future."

I propped my chin in my hand, thought about it for a long moment, and then smiled as I reached out my hand. "Sure, let's give it a try."

He looked surprised for a few seconds. Perhaps he knew his own family situation was a red flag, so he quickly accepted my proposal.

Before this, he confessed that he had been on the verge of marriage with his ex-girlfriend.

However, they broke up due to "personality differences."

I didn't mind at all and even praised him for being an honest man.

He blushed and smiled, saying I really understood him.

As if remembering something, he hesitated before speaking. "Just to ask beforehand... you’re not childfree, right? My family is pretty conservative, and we wouldn't be able to accept that."

I shook my head. "No, actually, I really love kids."

He let out a huge sigh of relief. He told me he was getting older, so having kids right after marriage was a must.

I told him I understood.

After dating for just two weeks and finding nothing that made me uncomfortable, I took the initiative and suggested marriage.

He was visibly shocked by my proposal of a quick marriage.

"Are you sure? We've only been dating for two weeks. Isn't this too fast?"

I caught a glimpse of his Snapchat screen.

Over the past few days, his parents had been incredibly anxious, begging him to lock things down with me.

Whether it was my looks or my family background, they couldn't find a single flaw.

I made it clear to him that I was at the right age and didn't want to waste any time.

Plus, I had conditions.

I told him straight out that I was down to marry, but I wanted double the standard prenup signing bonus.

He went completely blank when he heard that.

But he quickly agreed, even promising to buy a brand-new car fully registered under my name.

See? He was so agreeable. Why should I hesitate?

When I told my parents I was getting married, their jaws literally dropped.

But Ethan's financial status was right there. Plus, with a double prenup payout and a free car, my parents were absolutely thrilled.

Ethan was handsome, had a good job, and his parents were in perfect health. These conditions easily beat ninety-nine percent of men out there.

Soon, under our arrangement, our parents met.

All of his sisters were already married, so only Audrey and Beatrice showed up this time.

The moment Eleanor, his mother, met me, she politely gifted me a heavy, expensive designer gold bracelet.

I accepted it without a hint of hesitation.

As soon as we sat down, Eleanor sat right next to me and began making passive-aggressive hints about my future pregnancy.

"Chloe, I'm not trying to rush you, dear. But at your age, your body will bounce back fastest after giving birth! I'm only saying this for your own good. You need to take this seriously!"

Hearing her say this, my mother smiled and chimed in.

Since I had already accepted their expensive gift, I smiled along.

"Don't worry, I'll keep that in mind."

Hearing this, Eleanor was overjoyed.

"Oh, wonderful! Just go for it! For every child you birth, I'll personally transfer $30,000 into your account as a bonus!"

Wow. Rich people really speak with power.

Everyone was highly satisfied with the dinner.

My mom nudged me later. "Chloe, you are so lucky. This family seems so warm, and his sisters are so easygoing. Now that you're marrying into this family, I can finally rest easy!"

I just smiled and didn't say a word.

From the moment they walked in, those sisters had barely dared to speak.

It was only after I actively struck up conversations with them that their tensed faces relaxed a bit.

With the date set, we were ready to get our marriage license.

Right before we left, my phone buzzed with an anonymous text.

[Chloe, this is Audrey, Ethan's sister. I heard you guys are signing the marriage papers today. I couldn't help but warn you. Our family is a viper's nest. Please think twice!]

As I was pondering how to reply, another text popped up.

[My mom is absolutely obsessed with having a male heir. You've seen our family of eight siblings. She made a vow that if you marry in, you won't be allowed to stop until you birth a boy...]

I rested my chin on my hand, completely unfazed.

I quickly texted her back.

[Thank you, Audrey. But I truly love Ethan. Don't worry, I won't regret this.]

I gently patted my flat belly, a smirk playing on my lips.
