My Brainless Sister Ruined Her Life, So I Let Her
CH. 02
Chapter 2
I was sure of it. I had traveled back in time to the day I caught Chloe checking into a motel with Tyler.
Ever since senior year started, Chloe had been acting weird. Her grades plummeted, and she constantly smelled of cheap weed and booze.
That morning, I received a confirmation text about a motel booking on my family plan. I rushed over as fast as I could.
And this was the scene waiting for me.
Looking at Chloe, who was giggling uncontrollably at the motel entrance, wrapping her arms around Tyler while pulling his hands onto her body, I felt a chilling sense of déjà vu.
Even from a distance, I could clearly hear her loud, arrogant voice:
"What’s the point of studying anyway? It’s way better to find a real man like you and get married. That’s a woman’s true worth!"
"Look at my loser sister, Natalie. Working herself to death, and for what? She still can't even get a man!"
As the "loser sister" she was talking about, my gaze instantly turned ice-cold.
Our parents died in a car crash when Chloe was barely two years old.
I was only five years older than her. I raised her by myself when I was basically still a kid myself.
To pay for her private school tuition, I worked two retail jobs while studying, even leaving a permanent scar on my hand from a kitchen accident because I was too sleep-deprived to focus.
And yet, in her eyes, everything I had done for her couldn’t even compare to a boy she had known for a couple of months.
To be fair, the old Chloe used to be great. She was always at the top of her class.
Aside from being a bit introverted and not talking to me much, she was a good kid.
I used to think we would live like this until the day I died.
I never expected everything to shatter during her crucial senior year.
A transfer student named Tyler joined her class. He was athletic, charming, and came from what seemed like a wealthy family.
He was the star player on both the basketball and soccer fields.
He instantly became the dream guy for almost every girl in school, including Chloe.
Before long, they started dating.
Tyler promised to show Chloe "the real world."
So, the girl who had been quiet and obedient for eighteen years started skipping classes, getting into fights, smoking, and drinking.
It was during that time that I realized I never truly knew my sister.
She wasn't introverted. She was just waiting for someone to drag her into the wild.
She genuinely believed the trash Tyler fed her: "A girl's most valuable asset is her youth. You need to bag a rich guy fast."
"Going to college is useless. It’s much faster to just lay down, open your legs, and make quick cash." She treated those words like absolute gospel.
Chloe had even told me face-to-face at home, "Natalie, why are you still working? You should use your looks while you’re young and marry some rich dude!"
In my past life, to get her back on the right track, I practically gave up my own life.
I locked her in the house, called her school, and stayed by her side 24/7.
But to see Tyler, she threw tantrums, threatened suicide, went on hunger strikes, and screamed that I was a jealous bitch who didn't understand true love.
She even hid a kitchen knife behind her back, waiting for a chance to stab me.
Eventually, Tyler, driven by his hormones, tried to sneak out of his house in the middle of the night to find her.
He never made it. He was crushed by a speeding truck and died on the spot.
After crying her eyes out, Chloe came to me and said, "Natalie, I was wrong. I’ll listen to you from now on."
I thought she finally understood my sacrifices. I didn't know that was the exact moment she started planning my murder.
She studied hard just to get enough power to escape me and drag me to hell.
She believed I was the one who ruined her and Tyler's perfect life, so she wanted to ruin mine.
Even when the men she hired were tearing my clothes off while I screamed for mercy, she just watched coldly and said:
"Kill this bitch."
Well, in this life, I wanted to see how long their "sweet love" would last without me cleaning up their mess.
