My best friend had been secretly married for three years, yet she bragged about her "amazing husband" to me every single day.
She always said her husband was incredibly attentive.
He would cook for her in the middle of the night, keep track of her period, and cancel important meetings just to be with her whenever she felt down.
I used to tell her how lucky she was. Meanwhile, my own husband, Ethan, was always too busy for me.
