The whole place went silent for a moment. Then Jack burst out laughing.

"You poor bastard, what did you just say? The watch is yours?"

"You're insane. Why don't you just say the entire bank belongs to you?"

The people around us joined in the mockery.

"He must've lost his mind. He stole it, and he thinks it belongs to him now."

"Ms. Osborn's husband is covered in designer brands. Everything he's wearing looks cheap and low-end. Even looking at him makes me feel uncomfortable. How dare he claim that limited-edition Patek Philippe as his?"

Although I was born into a wealthy family, I was used to keeping a low profile. I had loved Lily for many years. Because her family was poor, she always felt inferior. After we got married, she refused to rely on me and insisted on starting her own business. So I started a company for her, pulled every string I could to land deals, and step by step made her the president of Domino Group.

She even said she didn't want anyone to think she got where she was because of me. She wanted to keep our marriage a secret and asked me not to go to her company. I agreed, for the sake of her pride.

I never imagined that the wife who was usually so gentle, considerate, and caring would cheat on me.

I directly pulled out the receipt for the watch.

"This is the invoice from when I bought the watch. It proves the watch is mine."

Everyone present froze.

"Could the watch really be his?"

"Did we misjudge him? Could he be some lowkey rich guy?"

Jack snapped back to his senses and shouted, "Don't listen to his nonsense! This watch was given to me by my wife. There's no mistake!"

"The receipt must be fake. He's just a thief. How could he possibly be some rich guy!"

The moment they heard Jack's words, they believed him again.

"The stamp on this invoice looks wrong. You can tell at a glance it's fake."

"That's right. He came in here to steal. He must have prepared this in advance. He's just fooling us!"

I let out a cold laugh. These people all worked in business, yet they were stupid enough to be fooled by a kept man.

I looked at Jack. "Call Lily out right now. Everything will be clear then."

Jack kicked me. "Who do you think you are? Why should I listen to you?"

I asked coldly, "You keep saying Lily is your wife. Are you married?"

Jack raised his phone with a smug expression.

"Open your damn eyes and look carefully. This is our marriage certificate!"

Lily and I weren't divorced yet. If this marriage certificate was real, then she had committed bigamy.

Jack then showed several photos of himself and Lily to me.

When I saw the background in those photos, it hit me instantly—my blood boiled.

Lily had brought him back to my villa and slept in my bed.

No wonder she had insisted on replacing all the housekeepers a few years ago. She did it so I wouldn't find out.

And I even felt guilty for leaving her alone in the country. I transferred money to her all the time.

In the end, she spent it all on this kept guy.

Jack's phone suddenly rang.

He answered excitedly.

"Babe, why aren't you here yet?"

"There's a fucking idiot. He stole my watch and even claims it's his. I'm teaching him a lesson right now."

"Who the hell is he? I won't let him off. Wait for me. I'm coming over right now to deal with him."

Jack had the call on speaker. Lily's voice rang clearly in my ears.

I was shaking with rage.

Seeing that Lily was rushing over to back him up, Jack became even more arrogant.

He stared at me viciously. "Hand over the watch, or I'll break your arm!"
