The Moon Goddess said I carried the spirit of the White Wolf, so the Lycan King chose me as his heir's mate.

But on the day of my mating ceremony, my father's bastard daughter stole my place and my mate.

I found and exposed her scheme. My father fell to his knees before the king, and she was exiled to the slave quarters.

So I thought I had won. And I mated with the Lycan King heir, Darius, and carried his pup.

Until the day I went into labor. The healers said the birth had gone wrong, and I might not survive.

When I was at death’s door, Darius walked into my chamber with that bastard, Sienna, on his arm.

"Aria," he said, "did you really think you could be my Luna? If you hadn't tricked my father with that White Wolf nonsense, I would never have touched you."

"Your mother screamed for three days before she died. The rogues took turns with her until there was nothing left to bury."

Sienna leaned close to my ear, smiling.

"The prophecy, the mate bond, the Luna's throne. It was always meant to be mine."

Finally, I died with my unborn pup.

When I woke up, I was back on the day of the mating ceremony.

I sat up and found my hands were smooth. My belly was flat and the mating mark on my neck was gone.

I was eighteen again, and the Mating Ceremony was still hours away.

This life, I'll let them have each other.

But I still will be the Luna, and the next Alpha King’s throne will change hands.

"Aria, once you enter the Royal Pack, you must control your temper. Never defy the Alpha Heir." My mother was crying outside the ceremonial carriage.

“Mom. I will. Don’t worry about me.”

I decided to sit quietly in the carriage and wait for the ceremony to begin.

Then the carriage lurched to a stop and I heard a voice I knew too well.

"STOP!"

It's Darius.

In my past life, I never saw him until the mating ceremony started. He had stayed in the Citadel, waiting for his mate.

But now he was here and charging straight toward the servant's carriage behind me.

"This whole ceremony is a fraud!" he announced to the crowd.

"Aria used a fake prophecy to steal what belongs to my true mate. Sienna is the real one chosen by the Moon Goddess!"
