After a Bar Host Impersonated My Heir, I Took Over the Family and Silenced Them All
CH. 03
Chapter 3
As expected, she immediately stepped forward and linked her arm through Brandon Reed’s, looking at me coldly as she declared in a loud voice:
“You’re making things up! Brandon has grown up with me since we were children. He is the heir to the Hayes family. How dare a lowly bartender like you pretend to be him?”
I took a deep breath and clenched my fists. “Emily, you’ll regret this.”
In my previous life, Brandon Reed not only stole my identity but also married my childhood sweetheart.
After foolishly transferring all her assets to Brandon Reed, Emily watched as he took the money and traveled around the world, living it up with my two sisters.
They found me an eyesore and sold me to Myanmar, where I was subjected to organ harvesting and eventually died from blood loss.
So in this life, I would make everyone who had harmed me pay back twice over.
Emily gave me a disdainful look, the corners of her lips curling into a cold smile, and then spoke loudly.
“Regret it? I’ll never regret refusing to stand up for a fake.”
A wave of snickering spread through the crowd.
Seeing this, my older sister immediately pressed her advantage and shouted, “Security! Throw this man out!”
Two security guards came forward at once and reached out to grab me.
I struggled desperately and cursed at my two sisters. “You’ve had me calling you sisters all these years, and you actually think you’re the young ladies of the Hayes family?”
The two sisters froze, their gazes turning dark.
I gritted my teeth and glared at them as I continued.
“You’re nothing more than the orphaned daughters of one of my father’s friends. My father took you in because he pitied you.”
The sisters’ faces instantly became extremely ugly. This was not exactly a secret, but no one in their social circle had mentioned their background for years. Now that I had brought it up, everyone remembered that they did not share the Hayes family’s blood.
My older sister’s face turned livid. She coldly waved her hand, and the guards forced me down onto a table.
My younger sister picked up a steak knife and glared at me viciously.
“You’ve impersonated the heir and spread rumors nonstop. I’m going to cut up your face right now. Once you’re ruined, let’s see how you can keep selling yourself.”
The knife waved in front of my eyes, its edge flashing coldly.
Just as the blade was about to touch my skin, I shouted angrily:
“Aren’t you afraid Grandpa will find out and make you pay?”
My younger sister immediately stopped, her eyes darting uncertainly before she looked toward my older sister.
She had finally remembered that my grandfather was still around, and fear began to show on her face.
My older sister’s expression shifted slightly. A complicated emotion flashed through her eyes before she curled her red lips in mockery.
“Grandpa went into seclusion years ago. He doesn’t concern himself with worldly affairs anymore.”
Brandon Reed immediately stepped forward and slapped me across the face.
“You’ve gone crazy dreaming of becoming the young master of the Hayes family, haven’t you? How dare you bring up Grandpa? If he finds out about this, he’ll skin you alive and tear you limb from limb!”
I shouted at the two guards holding me down. “Let me go right now! Open your eyes and see whether I’m the young master of the Hayes family!”
The two guards had only recently begun working at my house. Although they did not fully believe me, my confidence made them exchange a hesitant glance before slowly releasing me.
“What are you doing? I’m the young master of the Hayes family! Don’t think I won’t fire both of you!”
Brandon Reed was furious and slapped each guard once, but he hit them so hard that the shawl tied around his waist slipped down to his ankles, exposing his red underwear again.
Brandon Reed’s face turned red with humiliation.
I rubbed my shoulder and stared coldly at Brandon Reed. “You’re the one who deserves to be skinned alive and torn limb from limb.”
Then I pointed at the two sisters. “Since you care so much about this fake, the three of you can get out of the Hayes family together.”
Just then, a figure slowly appeared at the entrance.
“Who has the nerve to turn the Hayes family’s inheritance banquet into such a disgraceful mess?”
