My Fiancée Rigs the Blind Boxes Against Me

At the engagement party, my fiancee, Emily Carter, and my parents, Nathan Morgan and Jennifer Williams, set up a table filled with mystery boxes.

My younger brother, Freddie Morgan, playfully tugs on Emily's sleeve.

"There are so many boxes here. Richard can't possibly open them all. Can I open three?"

Emily smiles and affectionately pats the back of his hand. "Your playful nature hasn't changed a bit since the day your brother and I met."

My parents laugh warmly.

"Freddie has always been lucky. Maybe he'll win a big prize."
