My Husband's Secret Family

At our college reunion, my friends made a bet. The game was simple: whoever's husband called first was crowned the most pampered wife in the group.

One of my former classmates was absolutely positive. "It's going to be Chloe's husband, hands down," she said.

But to everyone's surprise, the first phone to buzz belonged to Serena.

She smiled and picked up.

I was sitting right next to her.

Through her speaker, I clearly heard the familiar voice of my husband, Lucas.

"Serena, why aren't you at the house?"

Serena's smile was dripping with happiness.
