She's Their Princess, I'm the Disposable One

I, Addie Starr, am the second child my parents have after an unexpected pregnancy.

My older sister, Amanda Starr, cries because she believes that I will take away our parents' love and money. After she develops depression, she constantly threatens to kill herself.

My parents come to hate me for it.

They swear to Amanda, "Sweetheart, you're the only princess in our family. Just think of your sister as a maid we brought to you."

From then on, all the dirty and exhausting chores in the house become my responsibility.
