The Delivery Order That Shattered the Illusion

My boyfriend suffered from severe clinical depression.

Between his weekly psychiatric therapy sessions and his prescription medications, his treatment cost over $3,000 a month.

To keep him afloat, I worked myself into the ground, taking on endless freelance graphic design commissions while grinding 12-hour shifts for DoorDash. My friends constantly warned me I was going to literally work myself to death.

Until one day, I snagged an incredibly high-paying delivery order going to an ultra-exclusive, gated billionaire community.
