The Final Experiment

Because my older sister, Zara Gomez, dreamed of becoming a psychologist, I became her favorite test subject simply because I had been highly sensitive since birth.

She said children should not be given too much security, so my parents missed every important moment in my life for years.

She said people at their lowest should not be coddled, so when I was critically injured in a car accident, they turned around and went on vacation to Coral Isle.

Only Aaron Shaw ever stood up to them.

He would tell me gently, "Cry if you need to. I'm here."
