You’ll Never Get Me Back

Four weeks ago, I nearly died at the pregnancy party my husband threw to celebrate our unborn child.

When the chandelier crashed down, I shielded my belly with my body before darkness took me.

Three weeks later, I woke from a coma to discover my baby was dead—and my womb had been removed.

Adrian wasn't grieving. He stood beside my bed and coldly told the doctor, “I paid you to make sure she never woke up.” Then he ordered him to finish the job.

But I survived. And in the darkness, I heard the truth that shattered me.
